    Ground Turmeric

For the Crust:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 levels Fahrenheit and spray an 8×8″ brownie pan with cooking spray.

  2. In a big bowl, whisk collectively the almond flour, cinnamon, and salt.  Add within the melted butter/coconut oil and egg white, and stir till fully mixed.  Dump the combination into the brownie pan and pat it out.  Bake for 12 minutes.  Let cool when you make the filling.

For the Cheesecake:

  1. In a stand mixer bowl fitted with a whisk attachment, add the cream cheese and yogurt. Whip on medium velocity till clean and fluffy.  Scrape down the edges of the bowl and whip once more.

  2. Turn the mixer on low and add within the eggs, egg yolk, lemon zest, and stevia extract.  Increase the velocity to medium-high and blend till fully clean.

  3. Turn the mixer on low and add the starch and turmeric.  Increase the velocity to high and blend till fully clean.  Scrape down the edges of the bowl and whip once more.

  4. Pour the combination over the crust and bake for ~44 minutes, or till the middle barely jiggles.  The floor of the cheesecake will crack, however that is okay.  You can cowl it with whipped cream, Lemon Curd, or Blueberry Compote!  Let cool fully, then cowl and refrigerate in a single day.  Slice, serve, and revel in!

You can actually use a graham cracker crust as an alternative of almond flour crust should you like. To do this, merely make these Gluten-Free Graham Crackers, grind them till flour-like, measure 2 cups of the graham cracker crumbs, and stir it with ¼ cup of melted coconut oil.

I’m fairly shocked — in a great way — concerning the nutrition information for this recipe!  For a giant serving (1/ninth of all the pan, to be precise), there are solely 270 energy and 0g of added sugar (the sugar content material is of course occurring within the yogurt and cream cheese), plus a whopping 18g of protein!

HOT DANG!

I’ll completely take two slices, please  😉

If you need to evaluate these numbers to “regular” cheesecake, you’ll be much more shocked.  A slice of “regular” cheesecake could have at the least 400 energy, 25g of fats, and 27g of sugar.

And if you wish to take it even additional, let’s stack my recipe side-by-side with the Cheesecake Factory’s Lemon Cheesecake, the place a single slice has 1,170 energy, 73g of fats, and 95g of sugar.  Yes, critically!!!

I vote my cheesecake.  I vote mine all the best way.

If you like cheesecake but don't want all the extra fat, calories, and sugar, make these Lemon Cheesecake Bars! It's just as rich and tasty as the original, but it's secretly sugar free, low carb, high protein, gluten free, and keto-friendly too!

Enjoy!
