Who doesn’t love an excellent sheet pan dinner? They are really easy and have barely any clear-up. Chicken meatballs with broccoli has tons of taste and likewise makes for excellent leftovers!

The whole recipe might be made forward of time, positioned on a sheet pan and saved within the fridge till you’re able to roast dinner within the oven. 

I prefer to pair this recipe with both cauliflower “rice” or soaked rice (when you can tolerate rice). You can at all times add extra selection to the recipe by including different greens rather than the broccoli.

    For the Sauce:

  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. uncooked honey
  • 4 tsp. fermented tamari sauce
  • 1 1/2″ piece ginger, peeled, finely grated
  • For the broccoli

  • 2 heads of broccoli (about 1½ lb.), however into 2” items
  • 2 Tbsp. ghee, melted (or coconut oil for dairy-free)
  • 1 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
  • For the meatballs:

  • 1 lb. floor hen
  • 1 massive egg, crushed (or 1 gelatin egg for egg-free)
  • 4 inexperienced onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 two-inch piece ginger, peeled, minced
  • 1/3 cup floor plantain chips
  • 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly floor black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
  • Sesame seeds (for serving)


  1. Stir collectively the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, honey, tamari, and ginger in a small saucepan. Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium-low warmth, stirring often and decreasing warmth if wanted, till sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Pour a couple of 1/4 cup of the glaze in a small bowl and put aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to 425ºF and modify the rack to the center place. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the broccoli on the lined pan and toss with ghee and sea salt. Push broccoli to at least one facet of the pan, however so they’re nonetheless in a single layer.
  3. Mix the hen, egg, inexperienced onions, garlic, ginger, plantains, sesame oil, black pepper and sea salt in a medium bowl. Using a 1 1/2” cookie scoop, scoop balls and place on the baking sheet. Brush the meatballs, utilizing a pastry brush, with the 1/4 cup of glaze that was put aside.

  5. ?Serve the meatballs and broccoli with the remaining glaze. I prefer to serve this dish with cauliflower “rice” or soaked brown rice and butter.
